Character Skills
All Character's have Skills, these very with their Races. Here we will explain to you in sections, what Races have what Skills, What Each Skill represents, and the Differences Between Them. Once that is completely we will then go into details on what your Skill Levels Start out as, and how you increase their ranking. Skills are things that are not Stat-Based, they are you finesse in that area, your level of mastery in it. A person with Untrained Hand-to-Hand for Instance, but a B Strength. Against another With Mastery Hand-to-Hand with D Strength, even with that strength difference, in a pure fight the Hand-to-Hand user is very likely to completely destroy the ''stronger'' opponent. Skills are there to add specialties and originality to your character and to show that not just pure power can win fights.
Example
Name: Kendo
Rank: C
Type: Swordsmanship
Description: Throughout the years the user has attained a decent level of skill in the art of Japanese Kendo
It is your duty to list out the Skills you use such as Hand-To-Hand, Swordsmanship, etc. There are also Skills such as Instinct, Clairvoyance, Empathy, etc. Things such as Instinct and Clairvoyance are uncommon traits for humans as humans have as such need a reason to have. When it comes to obtaining rare skills, even other more common things, you need to have them approved in the Technique Area doing a thread afterwards to learn it.
How To Increase Skill Level
To increase your skill you simply go into a Training thread, be it with another or not, and roleplay out your characters effort. The higher rank you work toward, the more effort you will require to put in- Once you finish a thread, post in the Improvement Process area of the forum and a Staff Member will Grade your work to see what your work is worth. The Skills
There are various Skills that are common among most people. Two examples are Hand To Hand and Weapon Combat. Your Rank defines your skill but the Description is just for a short and sweet statement. Such as what your style is though you can put that in the Name rather than just leaving it Weapon Combat, put, Mixed Sword Style or Polearms. You could also be more specific and include just Kendo. The Skill Levels
